The ever-changing color of light…

is another important consideration when using natural light as the source of illumination in photography.

In the first Natural Light video I introduced the concept of luminance and discussed the camera sensor and dynamic range. In this second video, we will take a look at the color of natural light and how we can work with, or correct for, the ever-changing color of sunlight.

In the second part of the video, we take into consideration the directionality of natural light and discuss the many ways we can take advantage of the changing character of light as the sun transits the sky.

In the third video we will look into using found light for macro photography.

I hope you find the material helpful in your own photography!
