This is the third video in the Lighting for Photography Series. I apologize for the length of the video - I really thought I could cover everything in a shorter time. Even though I couldn't, I have done something a little different with the format of this video.

After finishing the editing, I went back and pulled any material that did not pertain directly to the subject at hand. This material consisted of fun facts, absurd anecdotes, dangerous experiments, and outright lies. But, not wanting to throw this material away, I moved it to the end of the video.

So... if you want to learn about incandescent (tungsten) lighting in photography, watch until I say goodbye. That will save you about 15 minutes of viewing time. In that first section of the video, you will learn about tungsten light, how it is made, where it is used, how to correct for it, and how to embrace it as a creative tool. At the end I touch on modifying tungsten light and its role in macro photography.

But if you are in the mood for a little frivolity, don't go anywhere after I say my cheerios. In that last chunk of high quality entertainment, you will learn even more about tungsten and get to see how it burns when exposed to electricity and oxygen.
